01. The Problem

SMEs often rely on fragmented tools for inventory management, checkout, and employee role access, leading to data inconsistencies and security risks.

02. Architecture & Solution

Designed and implemented a monolithic Java-based architecture with strict role-based access control (Admin, Cashier, Manager). Included modules for real-time inventory deduction, receipt generation, and daily sales auditing. Documented the entire lifecycle using rigorous UML diagrams (Class, Sequence, Activity).

03. Impact

Providing a streamlined, secure, and fully documented POS system capable of handling thousands of SKUs and transactions reliably.
