Elgen's OS — Sovereign Workspace | Case Study | Elgen Mar Arinasa

A fully sovereign, IDE-native Operating System layer built on top of Antigravity and VS Code. Ships persistent autonomous AI agents, compounding session memory, and autonomous tool orchestration — turning any IDE environment into a self-aware, continuously learning workspace.

01. The Problem

Standard IDE environments are stateless and isolated. Every session starts cold — no memory of prior decisions, no compounding intelligence, and no autonomous background execution. Developers are forced to manually re-establish context every single time.

02. Architecture & Solution

Built a custom OS orchestration layer that runs natively inside Antigravity (the AI IDE). The system boots with full context from prior sessions, dispatches tasks to autonomous agents silently in the background, and persists a structured memory graph across all work sessions. A companion Next.js dashboard deployed on Vercel provides a live visual interface for monitoring active agents, session state, and workspace health.

03. Impact

A functional, production-grade sovereign workspace that compounds in intelligence with each session. The live companion app at elgens-os.vercel.app serves as both a monitoring interface and a public demonstration of the OS layer in action.
